XTOOL D9 PRO support ECU programming for BMW, for Benz and for VW. After replaced the existing software/firmware in the electronic control unit, program new ECUs, and fix software-controlled driving performance and emission issues.Reflash/reprogram hidden functions for ECM, TCM, BCM and other modules to customize your car is supported.
* Supports DOIP & CAN FD
D9 Pro can works for the Doip protocol and CAN FD .CAN-FD data frame newly adds EDL bit, BRS bit, ESI bit in the control field, and adopts new DLC encoding method and new CRC algorithm (CRC field is extended to 21 bits)

42+ Special Functions Supported:
► Oil Reset - Reset the oil life systems every time the oil and oil filter are changed;
►INJECTOR CODING - Code new injector numbers to replace the previous one when fitting the new injectors or after the replacement is completed;
► Brake Reset - Deactivate and activate the brake control system, assist with brake fluid control, open and close brake pads, etc.;
►Battery Reset - Evaluate the battery charge state, monitor the closed-circuit current, register the battery replacement, etc.
► Key Programmer - Help ECU to recognize the new keys when you need to add new keys
► TPMS Reset - Tire pressure resetting is required to be performed after maintenance is performed;
► Gear Learn - Perform gear learning for the car when the engine ECU, the crankshaft position sensor, or the crankshaft flywheel is replaced.
►Odometer Read - By querying the vehicle mileage information stored in different modules of the vehicle, the actual condition of the vehicle is compared and analyzed.
►Rain/Light Sensor - After replacing the front gear or replacing the rain/light sensor, you need to use the D9 PRO to re-match and learn the sensor. Also used to test sensors.
►A/C Relearn - operation data of the compressor is reset and self-learning is performed, and the position of the servo motor is reset and self-learning, which is used to detect and verify the fault location of the air conditioning system.
►HV Battery - When the new energy vehicle is faulty and repaired, it is necessary to ensure that the high-voltage battery has no power output. Through this function, the power output of the high-voltage battery to the vehicle can be disconnected, so that the maintenance worker can perform maintenance and inspection on the vehicle safely.
►Write VIN - The VIN information is stored in some important ECUs of the vehicle. After replacing the ECU, it is necessary to write the VIN number of the vehicle for verification and download the relevant ECU software. (After replacing the second-hand module, you need to flash the VIN)

Because every automobile actuator has a record code in ECU, which is the basis for automobile computer to mobilize their work. XTOOL D9 Pro is equipped with advanced ECU coding function for addressing the following issues:
* After you change the bad actuators or certain parts, you need to use this function to make a new code and recognize the new actuators.
* By changing the code with the ECU coding, it’s easy to improve vehicle performance or stimulate high-end functions for the car.
* ECU coding enables multiple car systems to recognize each other and then the actuators can start to work.
* ECU Online Coding is available for BMW, VW, Porsche, Renault, etc.
Please Note: ECU Coding changes preprogrammed options which depend on the type and number of electronic features already built in. Thus, ECU coding is not universally compatible and varies for different vehicles.

ABS Bleeding
After replacing the brake fluid/brake hose/brake cylinder/ABS pump/brake drum/brake oil can/brake oil level sensor, use the special function of self-venting of D9 PRO to drain. Thereby, the ABS system of the car can be restored to the best state and the driving safety can be ensured.
SAS Adjustment
After the vehicle has replaced the steering gear/sensor, it is necessary to use the diagnostic instrument to calibrate and learn the steering angle sensor to ensure that the vehicle runs in a straight line and the steering wheel automatically returns to straight.
